Medium and Long Term Consequence of Birth Conditions: Evidence from Sao Paulo, Brazil

The study links administrative data from vital records of the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil with school records covering the first few years of primary education, including matriculation records (school), performance in standardized tests, teacher evaluation of students, responses to parental surveys regarding the child’s experience in school and socio-economic information.
