Please join us for an insightful conversation, "Has COVID-19 Affected Americans' Views of China and Chinese Views of the U.S.?" Our keynote speaker, Yu Xie, is the Bert G. Kerstetter '66 University Professor of Sociology at Princeton University, with a scholarly focus on social stratification, demography, statistical methods, Chinese studies, and sociology of science. Professor Xie is also a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Academia Sinica and the National Academy of Sciences. Opening remarks will be provided by M. Giovanna Merli, Professor of Public Policy and Global Health and Director of the Duke University Population Research Institute. Shitong Qiao, Professor of Law and Ken Young-Gak Yun and Jinah Park Yun Research Scholar at Duke University School of Law, will facilitate the dialogue.
