American Aging Association Meeting

The 2014 Meeting “Slowing Aging: Signaling, Stress Resistance, Stem Cells, And Small Molecules; Insights From Old And New Models" will be held in San Antonio, Texas from May 30 to June 2 and will include leading aging researchers from the UK, Australia, Canada and the US. This meeting will cover exciting new topics in aging research as well as symposia directly pertinent to new research foci on clinical aspects of gerontology.

SSRI~ Workshop: Introduction to Survey Research

This workshop is designed for researchers new to survey research who are considering using an original survey to collect data. The workshop begins with a discussion of the advantages and opportunities that surveys can offer, as well as when surveys are not appropriate or beneficial for research projects and a quick overview of some alternative methods of data collection. It then provides an overview of the entire survey research process, including theoretical development, mode choice, questionnaire design, sampling, and maximizing response rate.
