Staffers update the announcements on this page with a focus on funding opportunities targeted to Population Science researchers and trainees. For additional listings, check the Duke Office of Research Support (ORS) research funding site. Also explore the Grants.gov website, covering 26 federal agencies, and the NIH: Grants & Funding website.
DUPRI also has a number of mechanisms to aid the development of new research, collaboration and extramural grant applications. The Administrative Core organizes and staffs these activities, which include a Pilot Award program that provides seed money for faculty to test new approaches to Population research, and Research Development Workshops, which help junior faculty develop R01 applications in collaboration with an experienced colleague. The Training program also offers conference travel support for graduate students to attend the Population Association of America annual meeting, and we maintain a listing of available Jobs and Fellowships.
